Recognition & Awards

HRSA

For more than 50 years, health centers have delivered affordable, accessible, cost-effective, and quality primary health care to patients regardless of their ability to pay.  Health centers advance a model of coordinated, comprehensive, and patient-centered care, integrating a wide range of medical, dental, mental health, substance use disorder, and patient support services.  Central to the success of the nation’s health centers are the Health Center Program requirements, which serve as the foundation for quality services and operations.

Recognizing the importance of these Health Center Program requirements, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) conducts operational site visits to provide an objective assessment and verification of a health center’s compliance with the Health Center Program requirements.  Upon completion of the Operation Site Visit in December 2018, North Olympic Healthcare Network was determined to have successfully demonstrated 100% compliance with Health Center Program requirements.

This award recognizes NOHN’s dedication, commitment, and mission to provide patient-centered, quality-driven, whole-person healthcare services to everyone in our community.

NCQA Awards

The National Committee for Quality Assurance is a private, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. Since its founding in 1990, NCQA has been a central figure in driving improvement throughout the health care system, helping to elevate the issue of health care quality to the top of the national agenda.

The NCQA seal is a widely recognized symbol of quality. Organizations incorporating the seal into advertising and marketing materials must first pass a rigorous, comprehensive review and must annually report on their performance. For consumers and employers, the seal is a reliable indicator that an organization is well-managed and delivers high quality care and service.

North Olympic Healthcare Network received NCQA’s highest level of recognition (Level 3) in 2016.

Before transitioning to a Community Health model, we operated as Family Medicine of Port Angeles beginning in 1979. In those years, we are proud to say that we were recognized for delivering high-quality healthcare and hope that as NOHN, we will also earn recognition as a great medical partner in our community.
